I started updating styles. Finished setting up version control and decided to use version number, the CloudFront recommended way, to manage main style file. Changed code for the first time and got to know a few basic things about WordPress filters.
I got an email from my company today, which was trying to clarify a fact. The fact is, the “Surface RT” that the company “gave” to its employee, is the property of the company. It means that when you leave the company, you should return it. Do you think it’s my fault to feel being cheated?
Went to a party hosted by a friend yesterday. A lot of people and it was fun. We all had a happy time. There was a suprise in the party. While people were chatting and playing loudly, the husband of my friend asked me a question in a voice I bearly heard. He said, ‘What book are you reading recently?’. This should be a usual ask but I have not had conversations starting with this question for a long time. Because I did not hear it any more, I did not mention such topic myself either. On being asked all of a sudden, I felt very exciting and even suprising. It did make my day.
I investigated my site’s performance and found that Custom Css provided by WordPress Jetpack is very slow. I decided to remove it and add the styles to theme Css.
For static contents, I tried a few free CDN and found not promising. So I signed up CloudFront from Amazon. Good speed and good bargin!
Finally, I made this site more secure, with HTTPS login.
