This is Tian’s entry on internet. Blog type of website seems out-of-dated by this moment of internet history, which is currently ruled by social networks. I once agreed to it but not any longer. For social networks, there is no need more than a Facebook. Those like Twitter or WeiBo, will gradually fade out before Facebook. After all, 140 letters are too limited to express accurate and profound thoughts and feelings. Expressing oneself in 140 letters is the fast thought food in this new era. One who wants to get something good out of internet, has to have his/her own website. This is what you are browsing now, “Tian’s Cenozoic”.
“Cenozoic” is a geological era which is the latest one of Phanerozoic eon. Prior to “Cenozoic”, there was “Mesozoic”. The extinction of dinosaurs denotes the end of “Mesozoic” and the begin of “Cenozoic”. This is the original meaning of “Cenozoic”. I choose “Cenozoic” simply because of its meaning of “new life”. Personally, I’m glad to be called “Lao Lin”.

This website is prepared in two major languages, Chinese (Mandarin and Simplified) and English (or Chinglish). Lin is not an English native speaker so the English content may sound weird. It’s very much welcomed if you write down any comments regarding any mistakes, particularly the language. Even the most subtle differences in wording are valuable.
